Services

Wirral Archives provides a range of services to researchers. These include:

  • Public searchroom where original records can be consulted during archives opening hours
  • Advice provided to new and experienced visitors on research topics
  • Computer access: 30 minutes Internet access is free, please book in advance
  • Copying service: photocopies, laser copies and photography options available - please see list of charges
  • Research undertaken by staff in response to telephone, e-mail and postal enquiries: this service is subject to a £5.00 fee
  • Group visits for up to 15 people per visit can be catered for (Tuesday-Wednesday) - contact archivist with individual requirements.
  • Hands-on activities for school parties available (groups of up to 30 pupils per session, Tuesday-Wednesday)
