What's Going On

Leasowe has a good selection of books, including a local history collection and large print collection. It also has a good selection of jigsaws that can be loaned free of charge.

Computer Suite
Leasowe has a small computer suite with Internet access, free of charge for the first half-hour per day, after which there is a small charge per half hour session.

Photocopying and Fax
Photocopying service is available and faxes can be sent and received from the library.

Baby Bounce and Rhyme
Mondays and Thursdays - starting at 10.30
An interactive way for parents and carers to introduce their babies and toddlers to the library.  Experience the fun of sharing nursery rhymes and singing action songs. For 0 to 4 years.

Adult Reading Group
Meets every Tuesday morning at 10.30 am. All welcome, just come along. Free of charge, tea and coffee provided

Storytime Sessions for the Under 5’s
Storytime is held every Tuesday morning at 10a.m. Children can listen to stories, nursery rhymes, finger rhymes and do a little craft or colouring. Open to anyone, no need to book, just turn up, you’ll be very welcome.

Events
Various activities are held throughout the year including author events, fun run, children’s chess tournament, summer craft sessions

 

Access Information

Leasowe Library is situated inside the Millennium Centre, which has automatic doors and a lift to the first floor. One of the pc’s in the computer suite has an adjustable table to enable wheelchair access. Supa nova software is available on one of the pc’s for people with impaired vision.
