What's Going On
Adult Reading Group
We are now a thriving group of readers meeting every 3rd or 4th Thursday afternoon of the month at 2pm. Discussions are lively with tea and coffee provided. Reading material ranges from classics to contemporary and popular fiction. New members welcome, just ask staff for details or see the notice board.
Get Into Reading
Every Thursday at 9.30 am
Come and have tea and toast and share short stories,poems and chapter books. All welcome
Craft Sessions
We held regular events and craft sessions during the school holidays. See library notice boards for further information.
Baby Bounce and Rhyme
Every Monday afternoon 2:30 to 3:00pm (Term-time only).
Introduce your baby to the library with interactive play and nursery rhymes. For Babies 0 to 2 and their carers. All welcome.

Bookstart
Free books for 4s and under available at this library (and all other Wirral Libraries)

We have a range of greetings cards, posters and workbooks for sale.
Computer Courses
We have a number of computer courses & 15 computers available for public access. Printing and scanning facilities also available.
ESOL (English as a Second Language)
Every Saturday in the Community Hall. Please book through Birkenhead Sixth Form College.
Other Courses
NHS Wirral run a range of FREE courses in the Library Community Hall: Tai Chi, Guided Relaxation and Imagery, Healthy Cookery, Mens Circuit Training, Weight Control and Exercise, Cookery for Diabetics. Ask Library staff for details or contact the Health and Action Team direct on 201 4164
Reach Out Job Drop-In is a FREE service in the Library every Monday 2.00-4.00. Run by Involve North West the team provide advice on training, a CV writing service, support with job applications and more. No appointment necessary.
'Pop-In' is a social afternoon for older residents held in the Library Community Hall on the last Friday of each month. Chat,refreshments,quizzes, bingo, music. Why not pop in for a cup of tea and enjoy a friendly welcome?

Available at the library.
Councillor Surgeries
Held every Saturday between 10.00am & 11.00noon. (except August).
Polish and Chinese Books
A small collection of books in these languages are available for loan at this library.
Community Hall and Meeting Room for Hire
Available for meetings, parties, training etc See staff for details
One Stop Shop
The "One Stop Shop" for Council Services & Information is located next to the library. It is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.
Access Information
Rock Ferry Library has designated parking outside, with level access into the library and automatic doors.
A disabled public toilet is available and the library also has a hearing loop system.
